Peak Beret Knit Pattern

The newsboy cap, newsy cap, baker boy… call it what you like. This peaked hat from bygone days has had something of a resurgence of late—and now you can knit your very own super-slouchy version to add a dash of casual class to your winter outfits. The stitch is quite heavily textured, but is nothing more than a double seed (moss) stitch, which is oh-so-simple to do. I’ve knitted this hat in a pure wool yarn in the palest of grays, which I thought would go well with loads of different colored outfits. But as usual, the choice is completely down to you.

Measurements
The hat measures approx. 18in (46cm) circumference and 81/4in (21cm) high.
