Mini Dress Free Knit Pattern

This long top looks just as great over pants or a skirt as it does over tights. And of
course you can make it longer or shorter. The real fun, however, is not in the length
(or lack thereof) but in the center and the sides. Even though there’s shaping, the
waist narrows visually because the center stripe is cut short by the vertical stripes at
the sides.

Pattern Notes
This garment is long and shaped. Its finished length could be your ideal length for a Midlength Sweater, a Long Sweater, somewhere between the two, or longer than both. It is high-waisted, but you may adjust the Back Waist length (between the waist and the armhole) and Finished Garment length (between the waist and the hem) as indicated. Before you begin, divide color A and color B into 2 balls each (if you don’t have 2 balls of each already).
Work in colors as established unless directed otherwise. Twist the yarn when changing
color by taking the color just worked over the next color.
Work all increases as lifted increases . The Sleeves are started from stitches picked up around the armhole and knit down to the cuff.
