BOATNECK PULLOVER

- 13 (13) 3.5oz/100g hanks (each approx 51yd/47m) of Classic Elite Yarns Weekend-Cotton (cotton 5) in #4801 white
- One pair size 15 (10mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
GAUGE
9 sts and 14 rows = 4"/10cm over rib pat st using size 15 (10mm) needles. FOR PERFECT FIT, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
RIB PATTERN STITCH
(multiple of 9 sts plus 3)
Row 1 (WS) K1, p1, k1, *p1, k4, p1, k1, p1, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 2 (RS) *P1, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p4, k1 tbl; rep from *, end p1, k1 tbl, p1.
Rep these 2 rows for rib pat st.
BACK
Cast on 48 (57) sts. Work in rib pat st until piece measures 22.5 (23)"/57 (58.5)cm from beg. Bind off in rib. Place markers at 13 (17) sts from each side seam at top to indicate end of shoulders.
FRONT
Work as for back.
SLEEVES
Cast on 21 sts. Work in rib pat st for 1.5"/4cm. Inc 1 st each side (working inc sts in rib pat) on next row, then every 4th row 12 (13) times more—47 (49) sts. Work even until piece measures 17"/43cm from beg. Bind off in rib.
FINISHING
Block pieces to measurements. Sew shoulder seams to markers, leaving 10"/25.5cm open for neck. Place markers at 10 (10.75)"/25.5 (27)cm down from shoulders. Sew top of sleeves to armholes between markers. Sew side and sleeve seams.
