MATERIALS
Worsted weight yarn [100% acrylic, 5 ounces, 266 yards (141 grams, 243 meters) per skein]
1 skein brown tweed

Size 8 (5 mm) knitting needles (or size required for gauge)
Yarn needle
GAUGE
16 sts = 4" (10.16 cm) in garter stitch (knit every row)
STITCH GUIDE
K: knit
P: purl
INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Instructions are written for the smaller size, with instructions for the larger size in parentheses.
Cast on 14 sts (16 sts).
FIRST BORDER
Row 1: *K2, P2; repeat from * across the row.
Repeat Row 1 of Border until piece measures 1" (1").
BODY
Row 1: Knit across.
Repeat Row 1 of body until piece measures 11" (12 1/2").
SECOND BORDER
Row 1: *K2, P2; repeat from * across the row.
Repeat Row 1 of Border until both Borders are the same size and the piece measures 12" (13 1/2") total.
Bind off stitches loosely across.
Using yarn needle and yarn, fold cozy in half with right sides facing. Sew each side seam evenly. Turn right side out.
