Wristers Free Knitting Pattern
Free easy knitting pattern for wristers or fingerless gloves. Uses Red Heart Team Spirit worsted weight yarn and size 9 needles. Perfect for beginners with simple ribbing and stockinette instructions.

Size 9 (5.5 mm) knitting needles (or size required for gauge)

15 stitches = 4" (10.16 cm) in stockinette stitch (knit 1 row; purl 1 row)
STITCH GUIDE
K: knit
P: purl
INSTRUCTIONS (make 2)
Cuff
Cast on 34 stitches.
Row 1 (right side): K2, *P2, K2; repeat from * across.
Row 2: P2, *K2, P2 across; repeat from * across.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for Cuff until piece measures approximately 2" (5.08 cm) from cast on edge, ending by working a Row 2.
Body
Row 1 (right side): Knit across.
Row 2: Purl across.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for body until the piece measures approximately 7" (17.78 cm) from the cast on edge, ending with Row 2.
Thumb Opening
Row 1 (right side): K27, bind off next 5 stitches, Knit across remaining stitches: 29 stitches.
Row 2: P2, cast on 5 stitches, purl across remaining stitches: 34 stitches.
Hand
Row 1 (right side): K2, *P2, K2; repeat from * across.
Row 2: P2, *K2, P2; repeat from * across.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for Hand until piece measures approximately 8" (20.32 cm) from the cast on edge, ending by working Row 2.
Bind off all stitches in pattern. Cut the yarn, leaving a long end for sewing.
Finishing
Thread the yarn needle with the long end. With right sides together and matching stitches, sew the seam.
