Row 1 (Filet Row): (Ch 3 counts as first dc), dc in next dc, ch 1, sk 1 dc. • dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, sk 1 dc; rep from • end dc in next dc, dc in top of Tch. Ch 2, turn.

Row 2: Dc in 2nd dc and in each ch and dc to end. Ch 2. turn.

Rep these 2 rows for Pattern St.

Motifs (Make 10 5 for each sleeve and shoulder): Rnd 1: With CC ch 10, join with a sl st to first ch (petal). (ch 10, join with a sl st to same ch as first petal) 3 times.

Beg with Row 1 of Back, work in Pat on 38(41.41-44) sts to same length as Back to armhole.

Armhole – Row 1: SI st in first 5 sts. ch 3, work in pat to end. 33(36-36-39) sts.

Row 2: In pat, work to last 4 sts, decrease 1 dc over next 2 dc, sk next dc. dc in top of ch-3. Ch 2, turn.

Row 3: Sk next dc, decrease 1 dc over next 2 dc, work in pat to end. Ch 2, turn. 29(32-32-351 sts.

Continue to decrease 2 sts at armhole edge every row

RIGHT FRONT: Work same as Left Front reversing all shaping.

Note: Each sleeve is composed of 2 side sections. SLEEVES Section 1: With F(F-G-G) hook and MC, ch 13(16-16-191. Beg with Row 1 of Back, work in pat over 11(141417) sts for 4 rows. Inc 1 st at beg of next row (seam edge) then inc 1 st at same edge every 3rd row 7 times more being sure to work new sts into pat. 19(22-22-25) sts. Work to about 14l14-154-154l inches ending with Row 1 of pat (at seam edge).

Cap – Row 1: SI st in first 5 sts, ch 3, work in pat to end. Row 2: Rep Row 2 of Left Front armhole shaping. 12(15-15.18) sts.

Continue to work as Left Front armhole shaping until cap measures same as Left Front armhole to top. 9 sts. Fasten off.

Section 2: Work same as Section 1 until 4 rows are com­pleted. Inc 1 st at end of next row (seam edge) then inc 1 st at same edge every 3rd row 7 times more. Complete as other section reversing shaping.

FINISHING: From wrong side sew 5 motifs tog to form a long panel. Sew remaining 5 motifs tog.

Sew seam edges of sleeve tog, sew side seams. Sew caps to Back and Fronts. Beg at lower edge of sleeve sew motif panels to sleeve and Front and Back shoulders ending at neck edge, adjusting to fit panels.

Note: Top motif forms top of shoulder and is part of the side neck edge.

Body Edging: From right side beg at center back with F(F•G-G) hook, join CC to a st along opposite edge of foundation ch. Being sure to keep work flat and working 3 sc in each corner, sc along lower edge, up right front, rnd neck, down left front, along lower edge to first sc, join with a 51 st to first sc. Fasten off.

Loops: Along each front edge mark places for 5 Ips, hav­ing top Ips at neck edge, bottom Ips about 3’h inches above lower edge and spacing others evenly between. Join CC to marked sc, with F1F-G-G) hook loosely ch 16, join with a sl st to marked sc. Ch 1, turn. Sc in each ch rnd, join with a sl st to next sc along front edge. Fasten off.
