MATERIALS: 2 balls Patons Fuzzy­Wuzzy Angora; a set of 4 each No. 10 and No. 12 “Aero” knitting needles; jet drops.

MEASUREMENTS: To fit an average head (22 inches).

TENSION: 7/ stitches and 9/ rows to 1 inch.

4th round: (K. 3, inc. in next st.) to end. (220 sts.) Work 2 rounds.

7th round: (K. 21, inc. in next st.) to end. (230 sts.) Work 2 rounds.

10th round: (K. 22, inc. in next st.) to end. (240 sts.) Work 10 rounds.

21st round: (K. 22, k. 2 tog.) to end. (230 sts.) Work 1 round.

23rd round: (K. 21, k. 2 tog.) to end. (220 sts.) Work 1 round.

25th round: (K. 20, k. 2 tog.) to end. (210 sts.) Continue to dec. 10 sts. every alternate round in this manner until 20 sts. remain. Thread wool through remain­ing sts., draw up and fasten off. Sew on drops as in the photograph.
